Professor Sheelagh Carpendale is seeking bright and energetic researchers focused in data visualization.

The Interaction Experience Lab (ixlab) at Simon Fraser University is looking to hire a person who can work as an integral part of a Data Vis design team. We have both Design and Technical people on the team who are developing visualization prototypes and products. You will work with Scientists and Data-Managers to develop new empowering interfaces through iterative participatory and co- design.

You will become part of the InnoVis (Innovations in Visualization) research group. The position will be located in the Interactive Experience Laboratory (ixLab), a rich community of students, researchers and faculty that specialize in many aspects of Human Computer Interaction and Interactive Data Visualization at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby campus. Burnaby is adjacent to Vancouver. Vancouver is vibrant city situated on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.
